Had Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's put on....WOW!
As the title said, I had em installed a few days ago, and I can't believe the difference between them and the GSC's. First off, the tread design is the most bada$$ I've ever seen (directional V's), and they gripe the road soooo much better. I've only driven on em for a few days, but I don't think I'll ever get a different tire ever again. A bit pricey at 165 each (245/50/zr16), but worth every penny. If you're in the market for new rubber, check emout on tirerack.com. everybody that rated em, said they'd def buy em again, and its rated #1.
Those are the exact tires I've been looking at. You like them huh? How about noise? I've heard that they are very quiet. I have Potenza RE730's and love the handling, but the noise is crazy loud. I like the tread pattern on the GS-D3's. Very similar to mine.
Anyways, do you notice any tire scrubbing on the sidewalls on hard cornering? Now about off the line traction. My biggest question though is about noise. Are they quiet?
Have fun with the new tires.

i don't know if this place carries them, but i have not seen any other place beat their prices: www.treaddepot.com
these tires are def quieter then my old GSC's. Flybono-true tirerack has em for 142, but then you gotta pay shipping and then find a place to mount/balance, etc. I paid 165 a tire, all included(mounting/balancing/rim protecter/and disposal of old tire), so I think thats the best deal possible. Goodyear wanted 205.00 for just the tire, nothing else included. I've only had em a few days, but I love em.
I have these tires too, they are very quiet, awesome in the rain, great traction off the line (best 60ft of 1.99 so far) and the tread pattern really does look cool!
Two days after I got them, I got caught in one of Toronto's worst ice storms ever, and managed to make it home (25 mile drive) from work without incident.
