Lowering question

Lowering question

Anyone who has lowered their Z ,have you cut the rear snubbers(jounce bumpers) I have about 2" between it and the axle.

I didnt have to cut mine and i dont have a problem with bottoming out. What kind of springs did you get and how much of a drop? Mine dropped about 1.5".

No, you don't want to mess with them. You still want your suspension to stop travling at the same maximum, you just have less travel available to begin with when you lower your car.

If you recenter your rear with an adjustable panhard rod and have some decent sized meats you will actually have to add a jounce bump spacers to keep your passenger side tire off of your fender. Of course once you start customizing anything is possible.

DMS 1.3 lowering springs with rear isolators removed to lower the rear 1/2" more.
