Arrow Bigger Valves and Reliability

Guys, when you remove all that metal to make room for the bigger valves, does it affect reliability? I mean I am wondering if the heads will lose some of their heat resistance/strength after the valve job. I was thinking about getting a valve job and bigger valves next (probably 2.00/1.55 LT4 valves), and just wanted to find out if there are any costly consequences later down the road. All the input from people who have bigger valves or who know people with bigger valves would be appreciated. Thanks.

You should have no problems. Any good machine shop would be able to tell you if you are going to have problems by looking at the seats. For those size valves, you don't have to put new seats in.

If its the first valve regrind you will be OK, its when you get 2 or more on a set of heads that they usually sink.
