Im running a 385 and have a CC 305 cam, on stock fuel pump and inj. I have the M6 and 3.42, I notice that I got to bring my revs up a little higher and go just a little slower on the clutch to engage, since it likes to stay at 1500 to pull off from the line, rather than just letting it out like the stocker ran.

I run the cc306 on a daily driven (except rain) M6 stock gear car...no problems.
