valve cover removal?

valve cover removal?

When i install my headers and take off the passenger valve cover will i need a gasket to put back on?? if so where can i buy it from

well of coarse you need to put a gasket back on
they arent there for fun

but you can re use them. just make sure they are IN ALL THE WAY before you torque them down

How about any auto parts store on Earth? But you can probably re use yours like Trey said.

Any auto parts store? What about an Auto Parts store in England? I will be going there soon, I might have to find one and ask them. If they ever exist over there

You don't have to put it, but it is HIGHLY RECOMMENED to do so. And make sure you do not tighten the bolts too much. Doing so will lead to a cracked valve cover, if you are lucky. Tighten them snugly on, or buy a book and a torque wrench to get it just right.

I saw GMC trucks in Iraq on TV. They probably have a few in Europe too. I think it's a safe bet you can get SBC valve cover gaskets in England.
