BOSE CD Player question, is this where it goes?

Its not really custom audio, so I'll put it here and see where it ends up.

My Bose CD player was replaced when I decided to put a Jensen in. Anyway, I didn't have a code for the unlock feature, but I'm not sure if its activated. It worked fine, I just pulled it out and its sitting here in my bedroom. I was gonna put it in the For Sale Section. But I don't want to sell someone something thats useless. Should it be ok?
