Re: [ADMIN TITLE] Questions about the new Classified's system? Ask here!

I like it so far. Requires a bit getting used to, but I think it'll do okay.

I had some trouble finding the "Place and ad"-button at first, since I swear it wasn't there. I guess Jason was still working on it, or something.

Thanks Jason/Chris!

Of course it will. It seems that other people are picking it up no problem.

Yes, that is correct, it was one last setting that needed to be changed. Sorry if I made you think you were going crazy.

Thanks Jason/Chris!

No, it is on purpose for now as we "grow" into things. See the bottom of Post #10 above.

ok i have an idea (im sure it will get deleted somehow......)

the part at the top that has recent ads posted. you could make it a pay spot kinda like you have to pay for the bold and stuff. pay extra and your fs post goes there

Personally, I hate it when you can pay more to have more people see/notice your ad. Everyone on these boards is equal!

A dedicated search feature is always great... I messed around with setting up one of these modules for about a week and its definatley great... thing is, most of us arent looking for anything imperticular, and are really just browsing until we see something that catches our eye.

Maybe even just make the choices less narrow?
-Body and Interior
-Engine and Drivetrain
-Suspension and Chassis
-Electronic

I think that would probably be alot easier for everyone including the administration!

Re: the new clasifieds section of cz28.com

So why can't we edit ads? I accidently clicked the auction button on an ad, but didn't realize the full intent of that and now wouldn't want them to be auctions.

I would like to see the edit feature enabled for the lister of the item.

So it will be fixed, just not for now?

Re: [ADMIN TITLE] Questions about the new Classified's system? Ask here!

OK, I may be the biggest retard on here, but how do you PM the seller now from the for sale thread? Am I missing it? Clicking contact seller looks to send an email, clicking on their name no longer takes you do the standard user info screen where you could send a PM from the old board, etc. Is there a specific PM button I'm missing?? Several ads have the seller saying PM me and I'll be darned if I can figure it out without doing a search elsewhere on the board for their user name and sending a PM from there... Thats not too handy at all. But maybe I'm staring right at a bigass "PM SELLER" button and not seeing it...

Re: [ADMIN TITLE] Questions about the new Classified's system? Ask here!

I like the direction it's going... But in addition to the feedback, I would have liked being able to see the post count of the user... LOCATION... And retaining the ability to private message would be nice.

We see the persons user name, yet we're unable to get a link to their message board profile.

Not sure how to fix that, but isn't the feedback what everyone wanted to use to guage the rep of the seller?

LOCATION...
That will be fixed later today!

Trying to figure out a way to do that currently.

Thanks for the suggestions!
