Only happens in some forums, on some posts. Do a search for u0025.

You get a "u0025" unicode added after the percent sign.

Every time you edit the post, it adds another u0025. So if I type 90%u0025(just 90 percent), it reads as 90%u0025. If I edit the post twice, it reads 90%u0025u0025u0025.

Happened to me too. Definitely a server problem, not a client problem.

Every time I edit the post it adds another u0025 behind the %u0025u0025u0025 sign. Not sure if that helps you track down the cause or not.

Actually, now it looks like it only happens after an edit. At least there was no extra text when I first posted this but as soon as I edited it the u0025 appeared.

edit: This is actually an interesting way to see if someone has ninja edited their post.

 

I'm now seeing u2013, u2014 and u2026 come up too. Not sure what triggers them.

The en dash character brings up %u2013. Type Alt + 0150

Ditto the above. It's also jacking up posted url's with spaces in them(where the space is supposed to be replaced with a percent20).
