That sounds like a great suggestion. Perhaps Vbulletin will add that in the future? The only problem I can see initially, is that not everyone likes to show their location and it's not a required field. So if there was a search option, you would only be able to see those who actually filled out that field.

Understood Chris but those how choose to do so, perhaps do so for reasons like this. I did so that members could understand my questions and comments base on my location but I also think it goes a long way to building local groups . . . 'CamaroZ28 Disciples' if you will . . . that can share a common passion if they so choose.
Also, I am a member of the CorvetteForum and that is where I got the idea. I believe they are using vbulletin. Please check it out . . .
