In the past couple of months I've been bombarded with spam at the e-mail address I use as my contact for this site. When I do a google search on that address, it comes up with a post on this site... a post in which my e-mail address is not even shown. The spam does NOT come from the advertisers here. It's random crap about loans, casinos, viagra, etc, mostly from the Ukraine, Russia, Germany and even Iraq. (I checked using whois dot domaintools dot com.)

I've since deleted that post, but is there something wrong here where our e-mail addresses are vulnerable to bots or something else that's capturing our (hidden) e-mail addresses to build up spam lists?

I doubt they are pulling data from the site as user e-mail addresses aren't shown. Post the link to the thread that shows up in the Google search results so I can take a look at it and see.
