Facebook like button blocking page numbers

The new Facebook Like button has text that extends into the page numbers tab and blocks me from clicking certain numbers. I noticed this when trying to click back to page 5 of the "What happened to the Zeus thread" thread and it also is apparent on others. This may of course just be because I'm using an iPhone to view these pages and haven't tested it on a computer yet, but this is a problem.

Can you explain this a bit more? I need to know how it screws up the browser button in IE. Is this after "liking" a thread and then clicking the back button?

No, I never hit the liking button. It would go back to the widget.facebook in the status bar and reload the like button. Had to hit back 2 or 3 times for it to go. Facebook was extremely slow earlier and the button was taking a while to load, which was probably causing it.

Doesn't seem to be doing it now, just an FYI.

This is from my iphone looking at the Random Thought Thread iirc.

Although it visibly covers a lot of the buttons, buttons 627 and 628 were also unclickable.

A similar affect occurs on my computer but the text rarely covers the page numbers, but does the invisible cover on pages with high page numbers. I believe it hogs the extra space just in case people with long names like something or multiple people in your friend group already like it and it will go "Mark Smith and Bethany Doe Like this, blah blah".

Again just a theory.

Yeah it definitely gets in the way, i noticed this in the funny pictures thread. Someone "likes" the thread and it makes pretty much every previous page number unclickable, i thought it was Google Chrome but it also does this in IE.

Re: Facebook like button blocking page numbers

I believe this is happening only on threads with excessive amounts of pages. We will continue to look for a fix for this.
