Finally got another Camaro
Just picked up this 6 speed 2002 SS SLP 35th Anniversary car this week.
68,000 KM or 42K miles on it.
I owned a '79 Z28 from '96 until 2004. Had fun building a mild 350 for it with a four bolt block, cast flat top pistons and a set of virgin 441 castings in which I had all new guides & valves installed. I milled, drilled and tapped the heads for studs and guide plates. An Offy single plane that came to me on an engine I had bought a few years earlier, and a new Carter 625 and ceramic coated headers finished it up. Also had Comp Cams roller tip rockers. Did the build myself.
It was a fun car for it's time with the Borg Warner Super T10 and 3.73 posi.
I expect this 2002 will be as much and more fun to own.
