'95 Z28 Vacuum Check Valve Needed!

I have been looking all over for a check valve for this thing! I cant trust the internet too well because a few other places I got it from didnt fit the lines. Would I be able to run well without it?

It's the check valve on the drivers side of the engine closest to the intake, originally blue and white.

For the Opti vent harness, You could pick one from a junkyard

Doorman makes some. IIRC this is the larger one closer to front of engine. On the same page they show others...maybe the Delco one would replace the smaller rear one

Amazon Amazon

If you run without the vacuum check valve in the Opti vent line, you might run the risk of a backfire in the intake manifold pressurizing the Opti case.

Is yours physically damaged or does it simply not work when you blow through it?

Any auto parts store should have one. It just prevents flow from the intake to the opti, yet allows air to flow from opti to intake.

The one from the store doesnt fit the lines. I ordered one from doorman, itll be here tomorrow. Someone helping me work on the car broke the stem to it at the base.
