1996 z28
Just acquired my first z28 given to me by a family member. Only 38,000 miles and am really expressed by the power. It has the red checkered flag racing stripes that are kinda faded. Anyone know where to find replacement stripes? Not sure if it's a ss. It has a few slp items and has the 6 speed Hurst.

If it’s a Z28, it will have “Z28” emblems under the right rear tail light, and on the side of each front fender. If it’s an SS each of those emblems will be replaced with an “SS” emblem, the hood will have a large scoop, an SS plaque on the dash, the RPO code for the SS on the Service Parts label, and a bunch of other unique features.
There were no red checkered stripes installed by the factory in 1996.
