SS Hood for 93 Z28
I recently had an unfortunate garage "incident" and have my 93Z28 at the body shop to have the hood either fixed, or replaced. Since this is an insurance claim, I was going to replace the stock hood with an SS hood.
Does anyone have suggestions on a good manufacturer or recommendations on a functional SS hood I should consider? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
This is for a 93 Camaro Z28
Thanks,
Dave

Re: SS Hood for 93 Z28
I ordered an exhaust tip back in january from 6LE and still havnt recieved it and now neither Mark nor Gil will email me back. Originally 6LE said that it would take 3 months since it was custom part, which i was fine with. 7 months later...no part, no refund and now no contact. Beware

I ended up going with American Sportscars' SS hood. The fit was a nightmare and the fiberglass needed some additional prep before paint, but eventually we got it all lined up and painted. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase minus the week it took to fit it and two weeks for paint.

I had good luck with my Harwood Cowl Hood
Fitment was pretty decent and the shop reported no issues when it was installed....
They offer a ram air version that is a little closer to the SS style.
