400-500 hp build plans
alright guys. I got my Camaro. 94 roadmaster lt1 and t56. I'm hoping to hit mid 400's with no boost or spray. On to the parts.
AFR 190cc heads
Lunati voodoo 60121 or 60122 cam
Scorpion 1.6 or 1.7 non SA roller rockers
30# injectors
52mm throttle body
3:90 rear gears and may get a Detroit truetrac for it.
Coated longtubes, and 3 inch duals. HP2 mufflers
255lph fuel pump
A dyno tune from the best place I can find near STL, missouri
That's the main plan for my build. If anyone sees any issues that may occur please chime in with your opinions or recommendations and correct me on any problems. It will get other supporting things like cooling system and oil pumps/cooler, etc. I didn't forget the little stuff.
Anyone have any estimates on what kind of performance a build like this would get?
Also what kind of springs could I get for the stock roadmaster heads that will hold up to a .650 lift. 1.7 rockers will jump the lift over .600 and I may cam swap it before I can afford new heads.

Re: 400-500 hp build plans
450 HP at the flywheel will net about 385-390 HP at the rear wheels, through the T56.
Not a difficult build. Might be cheaper to buy a pair of used LT1 aluminum heads, and have them ported by someone like Lloyd Elliott. His lowest cost LE1 port will meet your goal. Throw in one of his custom cams, selected to meet your needs regarding driveability, emissions, street vs. track, etc. 1.6X rockers are adequate.

30 #/HR injectors are borderline with 450 HP, not the best choice. Guideline for minimum injector size - multiply flywheel HP by 0.07
example
450 HP X 0.07 = 31.5 #/HR.
Go with 32's, or provide yourself with headroom for future upgrades by running 36 #/HR. No downside to running a moderately oversized injector.
Definitely need a good cold air intake.
