I told some sales guy to phone me when they get the Canadian pricing. He wouldn't give me the PDF but Canadian dealerships do infact have it as of July 28th. I didn't ask for all pricing because I am only after one thing.

Honestly I think this is absolute BS. The Canadian dollar is now 1.04 $US and the prices actually went UP disproportionally to the US prices. If you just take those three prices and compare them to the USA 2012 prices, you will be thoroughly disappointed. I have means to buy the car in the US and will take advantage of that. But honestly I am so deflated right now, I just might put the kibosh on the whole thing. I need to buy a house anyways. I knew it wasn't going to be crazy, but I am surprised they had the nerve to RAISE the prices, at least hold it steady.

You could always buy a Mustang GT. I don't know if their prices went up though. I am not saying this to be sarcastic. This is the whole point of competition. Make your voice heard by buying the Camaro's rival. Regardless, it does seem unfair for you Canadians .

 

How are the prices up there compared to mustangs and challengers?

 

A coworker of mine just bought a loaded 2011 Challenger R/T, for $44,800 plus tax. Not sure how that compares to a U.S. dealer price though.

There are several very lightly used Camaro 2SS models at the local dealership. The orange one I was looking at is marked at $38,000 at the moment.

 

Its a real shame you cant just come to an US dealer and drive it home.
