I agree. Some cars just look more elegant than others going around a track.

There is a thing called "noise driveby" standards that we have to meet.

Suffice it to say that the car is not yet finished -- exhaust still being worked on. (there's a thread over at Camaro5.com that shows about two doz. people standing around cars at Milford discussing exhaust sound....)

Yes -- you can push it harder -- but let's slow down a minute here -- we are working on CHASSIS DEVELOPMENT -- which means one has to work on various aspects at various speeds and chassis load...........one only has to look at the '84 Corvette Z51 package -- it would handle like it was on rails -- but nearly NO ONE would buy one because it would loosen the fillings in one's teeth. (trust me -- I had a couple of them.........)

How 'bout 'keeping the faith???"

Haha, OK. Thanks for clearing it up a little. (vote here for a chambered type of muffler design like Flowmasters use!)

I don't know if it was just the video but I thought the tires looked a little narrow? I would think they should be bigger than 245's or 275's?

I'm sure FLowmaster will be my 2nd mod, right after the K&N CAI.

Good to hear! I'm already impressed with the sound of the car from this video so I can only imagine what it'll sound like even better

Your hearing the tires opinion on that, right?

Ha, it just looked like it could have been run a little harder and sharper but as FBF said they weren't going for sheer speed numbers there but development. I would have personally liked to see it absolutely flying through the course at full effort.

Thats good to hear because it didn't look like it was really going that fast around the corners and I hoped that it wasnt because it didn't handle well.

Have we gotten any indication or confirmation that this is the SS or Z28? Definitely sounds like a V8 to me.

The guess is SS, but that's only a guess.
