Touch up paint

Where is the best place to get touch up paint.

pewter U11, if that helps.

looking for the proper match. I hate it when you get the touch up paint from pepboys or autozone...it never matches.

Re: Touch up paint

would it come in a spray can, pen, or can. I am hoping to find a small jar/can and use a small touch up brush. Then do the whole compound thing until it is smooth as glass.

Not yet. Ive been procrastinating. I am gonna order both kits eventually. Use one on one car, and one on the other car. If you get yours in soon, please repost and let me know how it turned out.

thanks

Re: Touch up paint

Get the paint from the dealer, and use Langka with it.

Re: Touch up paint

I have heard from some people that ordered it from paintscratch.com and they said it was a good match and worked well.

Re: Touch up paint

Well I had some time to try it on my wifes car.
Very professional kit for around $40.
When applying, you dont want to get too over zealous. You dont have to be too carefull with covering only the chip as the next step will remove any overage.
It seems more like a coverup than a fill the chip job. Although you can fill the chip with the provided brush.
I only spent the time to cover up the chips, lighting was bad where I was.
Once it warms up some, Ill try filling the chips and see how that goes.
Overal Id give it a 6 out of 10, maybe more after I try filling the chips.
Its easy enough so its worth the money. At least on my wifes car. She thinks its beautiful...
