OK, I am probably over thinking this, but;

I have an 02 SS with a Moser 12 bolt rear end which has had a brake line leak which stripped the paint off one axle tube.

What paint should I use on it after cleaned up? Just a high quality rattle can?

If I had a place to work on it for awhile I would drop the rear and repaint the whole thing, however I do not so it will need to be done on the car while I replace the damaged lines.
