I am considering polishing my rims on the Z. Has anyone does this. I believe they are painted and clear coated, am I wrong??. Anyways, I want to know how well it will turn out and how hard it is to maintain the shine in them after they are done. thanks

 

Just get some paint stripper, put it on, and let it sit for a while!! Then, scrape off all the old stuff, and polish away... I'm no expert, but get some variations of steel wool! Save the ultra fine 'til last, and then use a lot of Nevrdull! I started doing one of mine, and it turned out great, but it was just too much work, so I painted them black!!
