Hey Zaino guys,
Just thought I'd share the good news with you all. Sal has been working on a reformulated Z2 and it's fantastic! The benefits are even greater gloss/shine and greater durability. I tried 3 coats of ZFX with the enhanced Z2 and I must say it's amazing!! I honestly didn't think my car could shine any more than it already does with so many coats already. The difference is quite stunning, the reflections are very liquid, sharp, and extremely clear. It truly looks like a custom show car finish and it's 10 years old! You'd have to try it to believe! I believe Sal is shipping the new Z2 now for those interested... If you've never tried Zaino, there's never been a better time!
Sal is continually finding new innovations and improving his products so they always remain three steps ahead. This enhanced Z2 is no exception! Keep an eye on ZainoBros in the future, Sal is developing products that you'll really love.
Thanks Sal Z!
Mike

as I understand there have been upwards of 5 or 6 slight variations in formulation over the last two years - and they go un-announced.
I for one am glad he keeps tinkering with it.

OK, not trying to be smart here but is your car shining more because of just the new Z-2, or the ZFX added to it? If Z-2 is new and improved now, why bother adding the ZFX? Do you think the same results would have occurred without adding the ZFX? <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by MikeLS:

I'm asking cause I'm still debating whether or not to order the ZFX but balking at the price. I have most of Sal's products by the way and know of its quality so don't think I'm knocking the product.

Hey Rob,
I'm guessing that it's a combination of both Z2 and ZFX actually that added the boost. What ZFX allows is up to 3 coats per day of the enhanced Z2 or Z5. It's true, one coat of regular enhanced Z2 will look nice without ZFX, but after adding 3 back to back (with ZFX), the difference is really amazing, sort of a cumulative effect where the shine just keeps building after each coat. Honestly, I don't think I could get the same results without adding the other two coats in one day. In my eyes, I could definitely tell a difference immediately after the second coat, but after the third, I was floored by the difference compared to just the first coat.
So, maybe the ZFX added some extra "POP" as well, but I believe that the greatest benefit is being able to apply 3 coats of the enhanced Z2 in a day. To me, the effects of Z2 x 3 is greater than just Z2 x 1. And, it's only possible with ZFX, otherwise you're stuck with one coat per day.
I understand why you're asking, and I hope maybe I added a little insight...
Hope this helps!
Mike

Thanks Mike...it does help as you've answered many of my queries before and I value your opinion. I picked up a few extra bottles of everything at one of my shows last year and debating whether or not to spend the extra in shipping for just the ZFX. It's times like this I wish zaino was sold locally..
