My plan of action!

Alright, finally got the time to mess with my car, and I wanna do it right. I think this is what im going to do, lemme know what yall think.
1) Wash with Dawn
2) Clay with Mothers
3) Kinda confused! LOL, i dont know what to do here. I am going to use NXT, and I dont think a polish would work well, cuz I hear that NXT is a lil abrasive and would take away any effect of the polish. Should I just go straight to the NXT? Use Meguiars Paint Cleaner? Use Meguiars Polish? Help me out guys!

If you have swirls, use a polish or glaze. If you just want to clean the paint, use a paint cleaner. The cleaners in NXT are so mild that it won't really affect anything under it.

How would a dawn wash, followed by clay, followed by paint cleaner, followed by polish, finishing with NXT sound?

No need for a dawn wash, use regular car shampoo. No need for a paint cleaner if you're using clay and polishing, just go straight to the polish, then NXT over it. Use a pure paste wax over NXT if you'd like added depth and wetness.
