My baby was abused...

I bought my car and it looked like they wash it with steel wool.

Anyways, I pulled off the emblems/door moldings and there's some glue baked onto the car, and the clear is...well...bad. Anyways...would it be best to wash the car, rinse, then wash with a scotch brite pad, rinse, blow dry, then clear. Or would it be easier to just wash/wax/polish it?

I might repaint the car...I'm not too sure.

Unless you're a painter, leave the Scotchbrite and clear right where it's at.

Wash, claybar, compound/polish, and wax.

Re: My baby was abused...

I have experience painting cars...I've painted about 7 cars total. Knowing this, would it still be best to just wash/polish/wax?

I have to repaint the front and rear bumper covers because they look like crap, and I'll be getting a new hood/spoiler so I'll have to paint those too...so...whatcha think?

If you have experience painting and detailing, you should know as well as anyone what the vehicle needs. We can't see it; you can.
