Post Help!!!!

I accidentally broke off my right windshield wiper while I was cleaning my car. The wipers were still up when I opened up the hood to clean off the excess water then ,SNAP, the right wiper, metal arm and all, broke off.

Anybody know how to fix this or if it's under warranty??? I'm desperate for help~!!

Does not sound like something that can be fixed, sounds like you will need to purchase what every part that is broke and replace. I doubt if the warranty will help unless you have a forgiving dealership.

Unless you are on very good terms with your dealership, they are not going to warranty your windshield wiper assembly. Don't be too upset, though, because the replacement cost on the wiper arm is not too high, about $35 if I remember. Of course, that cost was for the wiper arm on a '87 IROC-Z I once owned, so the cost of the part for the 4th gen might be higher.
By the way, the removal of the arm is not difficult with the correct tool (sort of like a steering wheel puller, but smaller). Just be careful and try to avoid damaging the threads on the post when removing/reinstalling the arm.
