Anyone use anything BESIDES Zaino?

I was just curious. There are about a zillion different car care products on the market, but this forum seems to almost exclusively use Zaino. What makes it so superior?

I think I have a can/bottle of just about every wax product out there... darn near close anyway...

After finally trying Zaino, I'l never use any of that stuff again.

Things I love about Zaino:

1) Incredible Shine.
2) Best Durability on the market!
3) Ease of washing car after Zaino is applied.
4) Cost effective.
5) Ease of application.
6) Ease of removal (no dust or junk in body seams)
7) Smell of products (makes it pleasant to use)
8) Customer service is unmatched.
9) The ability to layer coats. Shine / durability gets better with each coat.

And there is probably more...

i think the best thing about zaino besides the shine is is duability.. my car sat for 6+ months on the street sun, rain, snow salt from the snow etc. and when id rince it off the water would still bead up. after i fixed the car i washed and put another coat ov zaino on and it looked unbeleavable! 1 coat of zaino will last months even with regular wases... and the more zaino you put on the better your car will look... no other product can even come close.

I use Zaino, some Meguairs stuff, Klasse, Clearkote and S100. These are the main ones.

S100 wins in the ease of use but I noramlly get only 6 weeks from Clearkote VM topped with S100. It is a great combo and I do a Silver M5 in it (after I prepped it properly) that gets driven maybe 100-200 miles a month. The VM/S100 can go 3 onths on that.

I'm actually running out of Zaino and need to re-order.

I've used Meguires Gold Class only because my car is 1300 miles away and I don't get to detail it all the time. But once my baby comes out here in D.C. with me, I'm bringing out the Zaino

I have read in anotehr post that Zaino is unmatchable on Dark colors. But for lighter colors,t he results will be the same if you use any other Respectable brad such as Mothers or Meguiars. (Put the turtle wax back on the shelf!!).

As far as durability, I have no Clue.

Durability is where Zaino really shines. It lasts for months instead of weeks.

After trying dozens of products out for 30 years I skeptically tried Zaino 5 years ago. It has proved itself in shine, durability and protection so many times to me there was never any reason to go back to any of the previous or similar products.

just started using ziano. probly will never use anything else on my baby.

stuff i used to use?
Meguirs gold class- good ****. if i hadent discovered zaino i would not have switched. shine is almost up there with zaino but it just doest last as long.

zymol- makes it REALY shiney. amost identicle to zaino but leaves a lot of white **** everywhere. smells great though but lasts for ****.

one weird thing i noticed while zainoing my car.
BEES ARE ****ING IN LOVE WITH THE ****
there must have been 20 bees out there when i was waxing the car.... must be the smell or something.

I use Megiuar's Gold Class and am pretty satisfied with it. One day I might break down and try Zaino.

Use it and you will know for yourself.

I've used Turtle Wax, Finish 2001, Nufinish, Meguires, 3M, Mothers and Zymol. Haven't used any of those again since I came across Zaino.

Something I found with Zaino is how long a bottle with take you.. You dont have to apply a thick coat like with some other waxes, one bottle can take me 5-6 coats sometimes more.. I use meguairs gold class on other stuff but for my car its Zaino all the way

I dont use all Zaino.

Zaino for the paint and the chrome is good enough for me.

For tires I use That Eagle Tire Spray with their sponge applicators

For interior I use mother's back to black

For glass I use stoners Invisible glass

Don't get me wrong I love Zaino, but the products mentioned above are doing me well so far =)

My son gets around 24 coats per 8 oz. bottle. He is really good at applying it thin.
