I'm not asking for the part number but what industry designation or series. I've seen references to GM alternators like AD 244/237 and...

Re: '95 Z28 Convertible subwoofer project

Leeman - from what I've read and heard Comp Cams had trouble with their springs some years back. I'm using their springs that came with the kit and haven't had any trouble, AFAIK, from them. I've got...

Re: '95 Z28 Convertible subwoofer project

I've got Bilstein shocks and was just hoping to replace the springs. Think that will work alright?

I...

Re: '95 Z28 Convertible subwoofer project

Excellent car! I didn't realize you were doing the sub-woofer install on a Trans-Am. I wonder if anything was different versus the Camaro.

Are your headers long tube? Any problems with clearance...

My oil filler tube won't stay tight and I'd like a new o-ring for it. Does anyone know what o-ring it is? I can find one online for the 3.8 filler cap but don't know if it's the same...

Gary, here's the Comms data you asked for. I haven't reviewed it yet but when I was logging this run I didn't see the DTC flash red so I'm wondering if the car is being a kid going to see the...

Re: Scan9495 Observations?

I don't think it is the ABS or SIR as I have not had these enabled during the datalogging. Could they still affect the logging if not enabled?

I can enable Comms next time I do a log. I will say...

Quick easy question.

When reviewing a Scan9495 datalog, am I looking for LT fueltrimBLM to be near 128 or ST fueltrim/INT near 128 or both?

Re: Wideband question

I guess I'm just questioning the usefulness vs cost for my situation. I don't race so I'm not trying to gain those few tenths of a mile off my ET and I'm naturally aspirated. My car is a DD so I'm...

I've been working on it. I'm still learning how to interpret the data (obviously).
