Turns out it was my TPS. It was showing a higher voltage at idle than at WOT.... :( Replaced that and all is well. Thanks for the suggestion.

I just put a built racing 4L60E in my 96 OBD II Camaro. It will WOT shift at 4500 rpms, half throttle it will shift about 5600, and wont downshift at the right time. it has trouble keeping 3rd gear...

Air is a lot thinner here in colorado, that means less air in the cylinders, less combustion,less power. A car will lose close to 25% of its power at 5800 feet up here. So an 11 second car here...

Uhhh... No. You have a 10 bolt meaning there are 10 bolts in your ring gear. a 12 bolt has 12 of them(hence the name 12 bolt!). the 10 bolt you have is a 7.5" while a 12bolt is 8.5" I think.

It would be so much faster and easiee just to swap the whole drivetrain in one peice. K-member is 6 bolts, tranny cross member is 4, then various lines and crap and the whole drivetrain falls out...

First off, why are you even trading this stuff? The only problem I see is that the dowel pin on the 96-97 LT1s is slightly different, but its real easy to fix.

Its OBDI when you have an OBDII harness, it can be done but it will be a bitch and wont pass emissions. Find a 96 like I did and it will be a lot more smooth.

And yes, the 99 V6 rear springs will fit fine. All 4th gen suspension is universal besides k-member. i.e a LCA off a 2002 SS will fit on a 93 V6, etc.
