re: Free 94/95 LT1 Scanning Software - PCM/ABS/SRS - For 93 Also (Except SRS)

Yup, I would have loved to have this program two years ago when I was trying to diagnose my Air Bag light as it turned out I had a bad SRS module. And again last year when I had a bad wheel speed...

Fred I have to say thank you for posting this as Doug's software is amazing!!!! I used it last night and it is so much easier than Datamaster and has a very user friendly/clean interface. I am also...

Re: Evap System Problem/Question

Guess, I'll live with it, I'm just worried that with the high pressure and heat of the summer that I could be boiling the fuel? Not sure, just want to make sure it's functioning properly.

Re: Evap System Problem/Question

Okay, got an update. Pulled the Charcoal canister and all looked good, no charcoal and lines are clear all the way from the tank to the purge solenoid in the engine bay. The solenoid works just fine...

Re: Evap System Problem/Question

Thanks Fred, very helpful as always. The pump is new (Racetronix setup) and probably has about 300 miles on it (installed it last year) and works flawlessly. My pressure is spot on, so I'm sure my...

Re: Injector

Mine are F.A.S.T. 42's and they work great, just need to get them clipped into the rail. They are made by Delphi and are actually the LS style - Bosch III design style and atomize/spray much more...

Re: Injector

Yup, they are just a tad shorter about 1/8 inch not 1/4. Here is a thread showing the exact size side by side, and this guy had my same issue. As long as you fully seat them in the rail and then...

Re: Injector

As stated before Accel injectors are not that reliable and probably the cheapest out there. But if you are going to stay with them, then I recc to mod the injectors by cutting the grove around the...

Re: Ever Shim the Motor Mounts? Please come in!!!

Thanks everyone for your help and inputs, and I thought I'd follow this up as it seems most threads I search these days have no conclusion so it's hard to get an idea of how things worked out.

Re: Ever Shim the Motor Mounts? Please come in!!!

Thanks and I'm not too worried about angle of the driveline or pinion angle as I have an adjustable TQ arm and can change that if needed. I'm more concerned about raising the motor ever so slightly...

Ever Shim the Motor Mounts? Please come in!!!

Guys,

I need to raise the motor slightly - 1/8 to 1/4 inch to get the pan off my rack. I have the Canton RR pan and it's pretty much sitting on my rack and I'm afraid it's going to damage it over...

Re: Lokar Oil Dipstick and AS&M/RK Sport Headers?

Thx Fred, I know the stocker will work, but I'd like the look of the Lokar and want to keep it in place better. Hate the way the stock tube moves so much, doesn't seat fully, leaks and don't want to...

Lokar Oil Dipstick and AS&M/RK Sport Headers?

Guys,

I've had it with the stock dipstick tube as it doesn't fit right on my car and with all the damn bending I can't get it to bolt back up or fully seat right. I'd like to go the lokar route...

Re: Crankshaft Hub Bolt

Just call your dealer as they still carry them in stock and they usually run $5-8 bucks. Not worth the hassle running a bunch of washers and a secondary bolt.

Re: Howards Rocker Arms

Don't know about their rockers but I do know they put out quality products as I run their springs on my AFR's as that is what LE spec'd out for me.

Re: passing emmissions with big cam

Are you still on the OBDII for your car or did you switch to OBDI? If you're on OBDII still then you don't have to pass the sniffer test, just have your PCM tuned to have all the sensors come back...

Re: Good LT1 shop/tuner in Houston?

Re: Good LT1 shop/tuner in Houston?

Unfortunately, not any options these days for LT1's here in Htown. Pavlock up in Tomball did my cam about 2 years ago, and there really isn't a tuner left here that wants to mess with them. Best...

Is the color gray or the light gray? I have light gray in my 95' TA and I'm looking for a set of Sun Visors in excellent condition?
