All cars are bad when you drop a bolt, screw, ect in the engine bay or suspension area's but these cars are the worse. I just recently lost a pcv valve.

If it's just the hose that goes from the pcv valve boot to the intake then just go get some 5/8 vacuum hose at any autoparts store. Costs about a whopping $2.00.

Did you any or a previous owner change out the waterpump? If so then you need a different thermostat. The newer ls1 water pumps are different. You can get the correct thermostat from Slp or Jegs....

No dont' cut the plastic line just remove it. Then cut a few inches of vacuum line and install that into the intake. Then install the t-fitting into this line and then cut some more vacuum line to go...
