Thanks for the info. I knew the sensors on the engine pulled the info but wasn't sure if it went through the PCM or went directly to the gauges.

decided to add the Baby LT1 4.3 "265 CID" engine with 5 speed as a option as well. Still a 8 with less torque so the T5 may live behind it.

Measured my TH350 today and it's the 9" tail shaft...

Sounds strange they "sold" it before the final paper work was done. It's not technically their's until they pay for it. At least you did get a good price for it.

Found out more differences in the brakes on the rear end, etc. If I wind up swapping that. Right now looking over the pro / cons of these combos and looking at the differences in the wiring harness...

I still have nightmares from driving one of my cars to work while in high school. I spent months on my back with a grinder working under the car, replacing floor plates and a lot of stuff like that...
