I just picked up steering knuckle off of a 2000 trans am for $23 shipped. You might be better off just buying one from a 1998-2002 car.

Just be forewarned that you will have to get alignment if you go the 98-02 knuckle route as it will leave your steering wheel cocked 90 degrees off.

Then I prob wont do that, still cannot get ahold of Unbalanced Engineering...

To my understanding you cannot fix that with an alighnment, you have to set that straight through the actual steering wheel / column etc?

It can be fixed with alignment. I have had it done before.

Ill have to check on that one, some guy had said they tried fixing it with an alighnment but that it resulted in the shaft binding and not wanting to turn all the way. Maybe I understood the situation wrong.

You wouldnt happen to know about my bushing thread i posted would you??

I just did the ls1 shaft upgrade today. All you need to do is grind the end so you can get it apart. Then you match it up with the lt1 shaft and put the ls1 shaft back together. I just bent the ends over to lock the shaft in place; no need for welding.

Sorry for the delayed response, been super effin busy at work. When I did mine, I bought an extra set of arms and took them to a shop to be pressed in and then swapped the arms with the new bushings in. That way my car wasn't down while getting the bushings put in. As far as what I used, I went with energy suspension black poly bushings in the front control arms and 1LE rubber bushings in the rear arms. I would also do at least the front lower ball joints while you have the arms out. When I did mine I did upper and lower ball joints as well as inner and outer tie rod ends.
