I have a 97 Z28. duol cat, I need a set of ceramic coated headers, either edelbrock tes or pacesetter (shorties), must have emission hookups..

 

i have slp stainless 1 3/4 shorties with y pipe and all the hookups for 250.00

 

my car is a 97 z28 which is duol cat (no y-pipe) and r u positive ur headers have a y-pipe cuz ur sig says "96 formula" and the 96-97 f-bods both had duol cats to.. so can u jus double check that for me, if they r for duol cat f-bods or not.. cuz if its a y-pipe its not for my car..

 

i have a set of hooker supercomp header (shorties) smog legal. they come with the y pipe and a new cat. dont know if you want to switch it to a single cat or just use the headers and your y pipe and sell the rest of it. but i only want 200.00 plus shipping email me at leonardclok@comcast.net

 

I dont know if those headers will work for my car.. y-pipe headers are only for 93-95 f-bods..

 

just thought i'd try to help you out. Dual cat f-bodies still have a y-pipe, it's just a dual cat y-pipe. So that dudes headers for a 96 will fit your car cause 96-97 are the same, and they have a dual cat y-pipe

yes that is true. you just have to get rid of the dual cat y pipe replace it with the y pipe for the headers and use a single cat. i just did not know if he wanted to do this. realy these will fit any 93-97 camaro or pontiac.
