Re: T56 for conversion

If i were you i would stick it all on ebay. I tryed to buy a conversion kit just like your selling and i bid $2000 and lost in the last minute. It would probably go for more just because its still in the car and people can test drive it.

If your looking for an A4 I have a FULLY BUILT Th-700R4 I'd trade you everything to do the swap, and I have other goodies for it, over $2500 in my A4 Setup

Re: T56 for conversion

Yes, I'm going auto.

I was going to build my own turbo 400 with everything but the kitchen sink throwed in it.

As far as th700r4, I don't think it will hold the power level that I plan on throwing at it. (aprox 400 rwhp motor, 650 rwhp gas 600+ trq)

What all is in the 700 r-4? Full manual, transbrake, stall, shift kit (of course if it isn't manual)......
What power is it supposed to hold up to?

Thanks

Re: T56 for conversion

Suppose to hold up to 450+ RWHP....It's a fully built street strip B&M TH-700R4 Full Manual Valve Body, 3 qt. Extra Deep Chrome Pan, fitted for an Autometer Tranny Temp guage, all 12 quarts of B&M Trick Shift Fluid, 3000 Stall converter....so yea it is a fully modifiied transmission built to take abuse extra clutch disc's in each pack, and of course it has a complete shift kit. As I stated I have over $2500 in the set up, it has 0 miles on it...I will sell for $2k, or TRADE even for a kit like your meant to handle power, and cover everything for the swap as well....

Re: T56 for conversion

TransamXXX......I'm going to have to pass on the 700r4 due to my friend having one of those same B&M trannys, and it didn't last in his truck.

I'd rather have the 400 with no worries. If not, I'm going to stick with the t-56.

Thanks for the reply and information.
