For sale: set of 4 SLP ZR1 SS center caps. Caps are from an authentic set of SLP SS ZR1s that were on a '98 SS (my buddy's car) and are my current wheels. I bought a set of C4 ZR1 center caps to replace these as I like the look of those center caps better on my car, which is a Z28. Not to mention I don't exactly wanna be a poser rollin' around in a Z28 with SS center caps. The center caps are in great shape with the exception of one of them likes to clunk around just a tiny bit when hitting bumps, but it stays on the wheel just fine. My buddy drove around on them in his SS for the better part of 3 years and never had an issue with them.

These things being said, I no longer need the SS center caps and would like to move them if all they're gonna do is sit in my garage. I would probably let them go for $20, possibly less if your located in or near the Mishawaka, IN area in which case I wouldn't need to ship them. PM me for pics.

Dustin, the center caps are chrome. The wheels they came off of are authentic chrome 17x9 SLP ZR1s that were the stock wheels on my buddy's '98 SS.

 

Whoops, I already posted in your other thread. As long as the pictures look good I'd do $20 shipped.

 

Have a buyer lined up, but am having an issue with getting my rear driver's side wheel off to get the last cap off the car to complete the set. If he falls through, I will consider others.

 

Is that my guy? He was saying you were having issues with it, lol

Yeah, Dustin, it's the guy you referred to me. The issue I'm having is that my frickin' driver's side rear wheel is stuck on the car, I got all the 3 other caps off just fine and the other 3 wheels came off just fine so I could do that. It's so irritating because I tried pounding the wheel off with a rubber mallet, tried kicking it off, tried moving the car a couple feet to try and roll the wheel loose, even tried the redneck trick and that didn't even work The dude is being as cool as he can be about it, he's being patient and waiting because he made a deal with me, pretty honorable I told him it might be a min cause I'll probably end up having to take the car up to Discount Tire and just have them puff with it because I've tried just about everything I know to do, but that might be a little while seeing how the car currently has a fuel issue that needs resolved because it doesn't run much more than 15-20 min at a time.

 

Ya the inside hubs of some wheels is ground differently for LS axles vs LT axles. I had the same problem with 10spoke years ago. He's pretty understanding and a good guy, hope you get it sorted out.
