There's a local shop near me in Houston where they get $1050 installed,
And yours is used, I already have XM, i might go $600 on it, When you walk out the door it loses alot of value, even if its like new.

thanks for info guy. the only place i know you can get it cheaper is ebay. if theres a link to this RETAIL store online, or the name and number where they can be reached, please let me know. im not being rude, just dont want to compare apples to oranges. installing this thing is a cake walk. but i actually did come back to this thread to drop the price, it was supposed to have been 850 shipped. 
i dont consider that overpriced at all considering it has 125 dollars worth of xm as well, and im willing to knock off that if someone JUST wants the screen, 725 shipped. hope that helps some.

Im interested in just the Pioneer 6500 deck. Its true that its going for $999 new at a ton of sites. What is the bus cable that you need? did it originally come with the deck? 725 is still a little high i think for a 6 month old item, but im willing to work with the price.
no, the bus cable is what connects the xm to the 6500. unless you want the xm too, then you dont need it. im sorry that it seems high to you guys, i paid 1200 for it, so i think its MORE then reasonable. the 725 shipped is firm on the 6500. id let the 6500 and xm go for 800 shipped, bottom dollar
dont really know where you guys got the $999. at online car stereo heres the link to the 6500. havent found it any cheaper anywhere else either.
