What year LT1? 2 or 4 bolt? Wondering if 'complete' includes PCM and harness. Please send me pics too... interested.

My problem is shipping. Possible for you?

Cam worked out ok. Has a little thump to it, but not too much...good daily driver cam and I like the extra 2 degrees duration on the exhaust side so it works better to the flow of stock heads. Not too much cam surge with an M6 under 1750, and get better mileage than stock @ 28/23...almost getting 400 miles per tank. Should be good for low 13's...haven't gotten times yet but I will when I get home, at the very least I'll use my G-tech. I did tires, cam, bolt ons and exhaust all at once with an M6 conversion and it made a world of difference over stock...makes more power and mileage.

I was considering a cc306 swap with my head swap, but am considering just heads, 1.6 rockers, chain and bigger TB since the mileage is so good and this is my daily driver car, even though I've heard the cc306 is very driveable. Shooting for 30 mpg...If I did the swap the cam would go in my trans am in place of the not so hot 'hot cam'.

As far as the motor goes, since it has no distributor, can you tell us if it has a small dist. hole, big hole, or big hole with a crank sensor on the timing cover? Send me pics of the bad cylinder/rod area when you can.

How about the possibility of shipping?

400 miles per tank!? Is that a typo? I am lucky if I get 200 Miles per tank!

Not quite 400, but around 375ish. Drove from Tallahassee to almost Naples FL on a single tank, from full to fumes with the AC on most of the way. That's why I'm somewhat reluctant to swap cams...I'd like to cc306, want more thump and power, but I'm afraid to loose mileage. So I figured some rockers, LT4 chain and a few other mods and I may be able to hit the 400 mark...that and quit driving around with A/C on or the tops out

That's why I thought I could go with an LT1...good motor, cools better, internal balance, 16 bit sequential EFI with higher flow MAF. Probably get more mileage and make more power with similar mods...

i tried taking pictures but it came out dark and you could not see anything.it has another rod and piston in it. i dont think it hurt the cylinder. if i was going to built a engine i would not be afraid to use it.i would say if your going to bore it 30 thousanths you would have no problems. if you are serious you can call me at 814-941-3989. ask for scott
