Thumbs up LT1 4L60E 2800 Stall 10" Converter, No Lockup - 0 miles

Hey guys,

Being sold is a newly refreshed (all brand new inside) 2800 stall 10" converter for an LT1 4L60E. I'm selling because the street rod project that this was going in has changed to an LS1/6-speed project. It has never been installed (just picked it up less than 2 weeks ago).

This converter was fully rebuilt by Pat's Converters in Philadelphia, PA and are a converter shop of choice in the Philadelphia area for both drag racers and street cars (have been building converters for over 25 years). Website: http://www.patsperformanceconverter.com/index.htm This converter is Product ID: 1002XHD for reference on their website.

I had the lockup removed to save weight and it is considerably lighter now. It does have the anti-balloon plates. The converter is rated to 650 HP.

Price from Pat's is $400 without the lockup, so I'm looking for $300 shipped OBO anywhere in the lower 48 states.

Check out the website above for any additional details or feel free to ask me any questions. Steve @ Pat's Converters can verify all of the information mentioned.

What does "no lock-up" mean for the highway?

I am just curious as to wheter or not I would still have OD, would my fuel mileage take a dump, etc. I have no experience with a lock-up vs non lock-up converter.

Fuel mileage will not take a dump...the converter will not lock up so it will stay a few RPM higher while cruising, but not significantly at all. On the flip-side it will be a much better performer.
