Thumbs down Got screwed out of 505$ by RedThunder1994

Well to make the story short..looks like its my turn to get screwed. I bought a ..."NEW UNUSED 383 CRANK" from him..and when i received it..it was rusted to **** and had been worked on. And..he basically says "its my problem now" and wont take the item back becuase he THOUGHT it was new. He is a piece of **** simple as that and im out of 505$ for a crank because my engine builder says its a pos and wont put it in my engine. Just a heads up for anyone buying from this *******.

Hey man, that crank is BRAND new, i bought it from Darren Harden from Harden Motorsports in Nashville, IN anyone around the indy area knows who im talking about, The crank was in my garage and was cold, i brought it in and condensation formed, and when it totally heated up and dried it put a lil surface rust on some of the crank, before i repacked it and took it to ups to ship out, i wiped it off with some wd-40. You can ask ANYONE whos bought from me on here how good i am to deal with when it comes to my items and sales, ive done a ***load of awesoem deals for peeps on the board with no complaints from anyone. Sorry things went this way i gave u a great deal, i think u can clean up the crank a lil on your own with some wd-40, look where the bearings will go, theres no bearing marks anywhere, never been "CUT" as u say. and form the start of you wanting your money back you were lieing to me. The box it was sent to u in was not its origional box. and u figured that out already because it is forged as u found out and not cast, its a perfect crank and if i was keeping my car i wouldnt of sold it to you. ask chevytuffda. he knows how much i loved that thing : but yea i say its your problem now because theres NOTHING wrong with that crank

p.s. if u WISH to pursur INTERNET FRAUD in the courts on me good luck man, to everyone else reading this and has delt with me, post some comments for transam to read, i think he';s just bitchin bout a lil condensation

if you know the crank is perfect why not give the guy a refund minus shipping and clean it up yourself and re-sell it. The guys engine builder isn't going to lie to him. Just give the guy his money back

You should refund his money if theirs "NOTHING wrong" with it. If its fine then you can re-sell it and no harm will be done to your name. If you dont give him a refund though i nor anyone i know here or on any other forum will never buy/sell to/from you.

What he's saying is true, a crank WILL get surface rust just as most engine components will if left in the cold like that. Hell I have gotten brand new parts from dealers that had a small amount of rust, also heres another tip. Let your engine sit for a few days in the cold then pop the valve cover off you should see plenty of rust on the lifters, the rust wont harm anything UNLESS its serious.

no thats the problem..there is something wrong with it..theres assembly lube residue on it....its rusted to ****..and its been worked on b4. this is coming from a professional engine builder. he wont take it back..he basically handed me his problem. At first he said it was only taken outta the box three times..then i got the box..and it was the wrong box..for a cast crank..and he said his engine builder broke the box or some ****....o well..it just makes you wonder how many other people who seem cool are really out to **** you.

Why don't you just be the better man if he is wrong and take the crank back and refund his money. After all, he ain't happy with the condition. If it had surface rust, you should have notified him of so.
