FS: Summit Rear End Support Cover/girdle
 

I have a new Summit Rear End Support Cover & Rear End Girdle that I never installed on my 1994 Camaro Z28. It should fit any GM 7.5" 10-bolt rear end. It is damn near identical to the TA Performance Rear End Girdle. It has the adjustable load bolts that you torque down after it is installed to prevent bearing cap movement and breakage. It also has a drain plug for easy gear oil changes.

The part number on Summit's web page is: SME-8510400

Summit descibes as: "These Summit rear-end support covers have a heat-treated aluminum body which helps keep bearings and ring gears in place. Also, the incorporated, adjustable load bolts prevent cap movement and breakage, and ensure proper pinion depth and backlash."

The new price for these are $139.95.....I'm asking for $109 plus shipping.

if it only has a drain plug how do you refill the oil when you change it? also would I need to order a gasket or somehting or do you still have the whole kit?

look at those pictures I posted today...shows a complete kit with a gasket, and look under the metal part with "Summit" written on it and over to the right (near and under the "T" in Summit), and you will see the fill hole. So, it's brand new with everything but gear oil.
