I have a set of Hooker 1 5/8" shorty headers that are JET-HOT ceramic coated with emissions fittings. The headers are 93 specific, but I can include the emissions hookups to make them work on newer cars.

CONDITION: The headers have some (very little) of the coating comming off but are overall in good condition. The Y-Pipe has most of its coating off and will need to be recoated to be perfect. They have been like this for 4 years on the car with no problems. It is my understanding that these can be recoated by JET-HOT for free?? Don't quote me on that. I am selling because I have upgraded to Long Tubes.

I am sorry I got mixed up! my bad.

I checked on the headers,called jet hot. heres the lowdown== the cost is 185 to coat the shorties, the y-pipe is 20 bucks per foot. they said 4 ft. so 80 bucks. seeing whoever buys the headers are not the original owner they will take 10 percent off, so 185+80=265. take off 10 percent so roughly 240. the headers dont look too bad so you can maybe just coat the y-pipe.just wanted to verify this. still not a bad deal! snareman

i agree, the y-pipe is really the only part in need of recoat, but you could go ahead and have the headers done at the same time to make everything the same age. i am still unsure if you are interested in purchasing them. Let me know
