FS: 1999 TransAm 52k miles $9400

1999 Black Trans Am. Dark grey leather interior. Six speed. 52k miles. T-tops of course. Performance mods are:

-Lid w/ K&N filter
-SLP Loudmouth catback exhaust w/ 3.5” slash cut tips
-Pro 5.0 shifter
-Predator Programmer (included)

Car has never seen nitrous or a even a dragstrip since I bought it nearly three years ago with 12.1k miles on the odometer. The car was apparently stolen from the original owner, who was reimbursed by his insurance company. When it was recovered, the insurance company repaired any damage and sold it, so it does not have a clear title. However, it has no damage or problems that I have been able to see in the nearly three years I’ve owned it.

It has had Mobil 1 5w/30 every 3k miles since I’ve owned it. It has been the most reliable, trouble-free vehicle I’ve owned in my 10 years of owning vehicles. Only problems I’ve had with it are the typical warped rotors on LS1’s and the air pump went out. I replaced the pads/rotors about 5k miles ago, and that completely fixed the problem. I removed the air pump and Chris at SpeedDemon deleted the air pump code from the computer.

Non-performance mods include:

-Genuine GM WS6 17” wheels (tires have around 7-8k miles on them)
-VFN WS6 style hood
-Custom stereo. Includes Alpine deck, Alpine 3-way component speakers, Alpine 10” Type-R sub in a “SubThump” box.

Asking $9400. I live in Spring, Texas in the I-45/Cypresswood area. I bought a 2004 Cobra about a month ago, and its just not practical to keep both at this point in my life (so says my wife, atleast).

Email me at RedSS2331@yahoo.com with questions/inquires.

Re: FS: 1999 TransAm 52k miles $9400

Due to all of the email picture requests I have received, I decided to take a few pics and host them online. Unfortunately, the Houston weather did not comply, and it started pouring when I went outside. I did manage to take a few pics of the interior and a couple of the exterior, while in the garage. I also included some pictures of the exterior from about 1.5 years ago, that I had on my computer. Those are before the ram air hood. The older pictures are noted as such.

Hopefully the Houston weather will be more forgiving tomorrow morning, and I can upload some pics in the sunshine on the driveway.

man, that's a steal of a price! too bad I'm not in the market for a TA. Good luck tho, I know you won't need it when you're asking so low of a price!

Wow, if I had the money and could get rid of my Z28 and you lived closer I would be all over that. Sweet looking ride, you should have no problem selling it.

I finally got a chance to take a few more recent pictures yesterday. I uploaded them to the website. All the new pictures are labeled with yesterday's date. I've been real busy at work and slow to answer everyone's emails. I should be available for the rest of the week around 10am-1pm to show the car; so email me and we can set up a time that will for for the both of us.

Here's the website again:

New pics are on the second page. Refresh it a few times if they don't show up right away.

And my email: RedSS2331@yahoo.com

It has a "rebuilt/salvage" title.

I wonder ho-w a bank would react to that title, I would be interested, but I don't think they would accept it.
