Fs: 1996 lt1 vette 643 heads

SOLD!

Last summer my son and I installed a new set of Dart Pro 1 cylinder heads on his 1996 LT1 Corvette and I have his stock LT1 aluminum heads for sale.

Heads are 10207643s, completely stock and are un-damaged. Engine has 102k miles, so I'm assuming the heads have seen the same mileage. Heads are just as they were removed from the engine with valves, springs and studs.

These are the good ones for porting.

Other casting numbers on the heads are:

Back of head 09961
Front of head 09561
Near casting number on one head is the #6089
Near casting number on other head is the #6080
Front of one head 10061A
Front of other head 09561

$275.00 + shipping: Figure 30# per head for shipping from Zip 75146 to whatever your zip is. The Postal Service has a site that can estimate the shipping cost. They'll be shipped in the Dart boxes. OR

If you buy them and want them ported by LE, he's only a few miles from me, so I can drop them off for you. That'll save you the shipping costs. See what a NICE guy I am, LOL!

GM High Tech Performance magazine dynoed a ported set of these on a 383 running a XFI 230/236 cam and the engine made pretty close to 500 HP! Details are on their web site.

If anyone's interested; jcameron266@sbcglobal.net

Thanks,

Jake

Wow, that is very xpensive buddy, going rate on heads even with full valvtrain is $200 shipped. If boxed correctly it will 50lbs no more and will cost you atleast 30 bucks to ship depending on where you bring it. Good luck with sale though buddy, Even ask lloyd if you dont believe me on the pricing.

Apparently you aren't aware that posts, such as yours, are considered to be in bad taste. Moderators routinely delete such posts and warn the poster about any recurrence

If you don't like the price you have to simply remain silent or send any disgreement in a Private Message, or email.

Lloyd doesn't set prices for me and, without attempting to be offensive, neither do you .

One final thought. I weighed the heads with them in the boxes with each box containing the half valvetrain parts.

Consider this a learning experience.

x2 wayyyy overpriced. i dont need a learning experience. I know what these are worth. For that price you might as well keep them.

One last warning: The very next one like those two that get posted will result in me reporting the posters to a Forum Moderator.

Consider yourself fore-warned.

On second thought I decided to ask the Forum Administrator/Moderator to intervene in this matter.

Such responses are an objectionable interference in an offer to sale. Such interference should not be allowed, not only in my individual case, but for the protection of past, present and future posters as well.

2) NOT INTERESTED IN WHAT IS FOR SALE? DO NOT POST IN THE THREAD
If you have no intention of buying what is being offered, then you have absolutely no business posting in the thread the item is being sold in. Giving someone a hard time because their price is too high, etc. is not your place if you weren't at least going to make an offer on what is being sold.
