comp cam part# 07-304-8 specs r adv 266/276 @50 210/220 with a 500/510 it has bout 25 passes on it.I went with a way bigger cam dont need this one sounds good runs good got me a respectful 12.65 pass with all my other mods.new was $289.00 urs for $100.00 plus shipping.got videos on u tube if u want 2 hear it go to biggpoppa's camaro on youtube an check it out

ok to run in a stock motor?

 

yep no need for other mods else u want 2

 

u would need valve springs and a higher stall converter

 

i never did any vavle springs or a stall an it worked fine this is just like a stock lt-4 cam not much bigger than stock.

 

used to run a stock motor with an LT4 cam, 3.73s and a stock stall. never did run right. not trying to block any sales, just saying what did and didn't work. really needs a converter.

 

Interesting that the Comp Cam web site never mentioned a higher stall converter.
Just the need to run better springs.

 

well you can try it with the stock stall if you want.. its possible that it could work but i would run a higher stall (a vette stall would work good it stalls about 2200-2500 i heard)

 

comp said worked fine with factory lt-1 it did recommend springs but i did not change them.it run fine for me for lil over a year b4 i changed to a cc 540/520lift 288/298 duration comp cam then i changed springs,30lb injectors,255 fuel pump,stall converter,headers,ecm tuned by pcmsforless,etc.....maybe u didnt have yours set up right.
