396 LT1 short block, Tick Level II T56, Headers, Clutch, etc
Brand new 396" LT1 short block. A lot of money went into this and this is your chance to buy a really kick *** LT1 for a great deal.
Specifications:
-Seasoned GM LT1 block:
-Hot tanked
-Howards billet splayed main caps and ARP main studs installed
-Align honed
-Bored to 4.030"
-Torque plate honed
-Stroker clearanced
-Square & zero decked
-Rotating assembly balanced
-Eagle 3.875 stroke 4340 forged crankshaft, internal balance
-Eagle 5.850 H beam rods, bushed with floating pins
-CP Pistons custom piston set with CP wrist pins and spiral locks, 9cc dish with valve reliefs
-Total seal plasma moly file fit ring set
-Durabond CHP performance camshaft bearings
-Clevite H series main bearings
-Clevite H series rod bearings
-Clevite brass freeze plug set
-Professionally assembled
With a 54cc cylinder head and .039 head gasket, the compression ratio would come out to around 12.3:1.
For compression ratio purposes:
Bore: 4.030"
Stroke: 3.875"
Piston to deck: Zero
Piston valve relief/dish: 9cc
Short block comes exactly as pictured. It is just a short block. Cost to duplicate $5,700.

Pacesetter ceramic coated long tube headers for LT1 F bodies, part number 72C2235. These do have emissions fittings for 94-95 models, but will work on all 93-97 cars if you block off the emissions fittings / delete emissions. Headers are brand new. $350 shipped
