4l60e for sale
It is out of a '95 z28. I bought the car not running (bad head gasket). I rebuilt the motor to take a 200+ shot of N2O (as well as a cam, heads, LTs etc. I didnt think the stock tranny would last so I put in a built 700r4 (got a good deal).
The car has 130000 mile on it, but the case of the transmission says "GM Goodwrench Service Replacement Transmission. Remanufactured for General Motors Corp." So, it is a rebuilt unit with unknown miles (likely significantly less than 130000). The previous owner of the car told me it shifts great (he thought I should just use it with the N2O etc.). That was 2 weeks after I paid him for the car so he had no incentive to lie.
I know it is kind of a strange deal, but I am not trying to screw anyone. I have bought and sold here a couple of times including selling my car (2002 z28 for $18000) all transactions went great. I can let the transmission go for $275 + shipping. I can get a great deal on shipping because I work for FedEx (usually 75% off) so shipping should not be too bad. This is a great deal for somone who needs to get their car up and running again for cheap.
If you live not too far from Indy, I can meet you somewhere and avoid shipping. If you live close to Indy, I might be able to help you put it in for very cheap (I had my 700 in and out 3 times).
Make an offer if you want but I think this is a good price and a good deal on shipping.

I will look into shipping for you on Monday. I will call them tom. but usually I can't get an answer (on the employee discount) unitl I go to work. I will let you know if I find anything out tomorrow.
