1969 Z-28 engines 302
I have 2 long blocks that I'm not sure what to do with. One is a DZ and the other is a CE. Both came out of '69 Z's.
Both are STD bore, correct pistons, crank, block, 4 bolt mains, heads, etc and I have one intake but not sure of the date code because it was purchased separately and the heat shield is blocking the cast date.
I drove the Z that the DZ engine was in and bought it back for the guy who purchased the Z, The CE I purchased from a local Camaro shop.
These engines came with the correct heads but the dates do not relate to being the originals. The CE has a 1974 cast date but correct PN.
These are not just the blocks but were running engines before being pulled from the Z's
DZ asking $7K and CE asking $6500, first one to sell gets the choice of the intake for $100 more and choice of the non-rebuilt heads. I have complexly rebuilt 2.02 heads dated for the DZ that cost me $1650 OOP which are also open for offers with the purchase of one of the engines. The heads are modified with SS valves, hardened exh seats, all new guides and all new hardware all USA made.
