Just curious. Speaking of no front plate, check this out. The Lieutenant Governor of BC doesn't have to have a front plate on their vehicle.

Apparently everybody is wrong, cause I just got one in W. Van and its $106
less $25 if you pay in 30 days or less.

 

My friend was told it was 96 when some cop circled his car like a shark and waited for us to come out from the pool hall. But for some reason after the harassment he got off without a ticket.

 

I got one in richmond last year before they went up, and it was $109.
I asked for a reduction, and only paid $25

 

are you gonna pay?? i thought you said if you ever got one you would dispute it.

 

Exactly, like I said around $86 don't know where $196 comes from.

 

Why can't all police be like this?

I asked an ex cop about this, here is his reply:

"I never would write that ticket, just like the "no seatbelt", only wrote 1 of those to a ****** that told me his dog ate his seatbelt, so I told him to have his dog pay the $135.00 fine!! F-him. It is really "chicken-****" policing though, and says more about the member, than the recipient.

 

Actually I am going to fight it and hope the cop doesn't show in court.

 

make sure you have it on when you go

tell them that your bumper just came back from paint and the bracket was forgotten at the bodyshop and the officer didn't care to listen

and if they say "still" then just ask for a reduction in the price of the ticket...better than 106
