NICE!
That yours? How did you come by it? What you got planned for it? You can either donate it to me ( I have two 70s) or you can buy one of my 70s to keep it company :D . Its a fairly loaded truck compared to that one (25 options). All origional but in need of some work if you are looking for another factory resto project.

Yes Its ours We just got it yesterday.:D
Its a 67 (not a 70s) got some minor problems (like it being a inline 6)But other than that its going to a aftermarket interior (NO CUTTING) Then down the line its getting a LS1 or a LS2 in it.

CoryM Mar 7, 2004 03:59 PM

Ya I know its a 67. When I say 70s I mean plural for two 1970 trucks ;) . 67-68 shared the same nose except for no marker lights on 67. In 69 they went to the same nose as on my trucks, only difference is the inner grille. 71-72 were same truck, different grille and disc brakes were base. 67-72 were the same truck other than bodywork. I know these trucks very well so if you need some input let me know. Also check out www.67-72chevytrucks.com and the message boards there. The 67 swb stepside is fairly desirable. Even a base model like that.

Well right now we are looking for a Truck cover for it (because it will be staying out side most of the time right now)
& the hard Bed Covers.

Put a LS1 in there with a t56, install a tubbed 9inch with 4 link, drop it to the ground with 22 inch rims!!!!:)
That's all I could think of, off the top of my head.:D

why would u tub the back if ur gonna run 22"s ? unless u mean 22" wide wheels :D ;)

krazzycowgirl Mar 7, 2004 05:29 PM

Its not a race truck lol. We are going to lower it slightly only a inch or 2 & put 16s on it. Maybe even my husbands stock 95 wheels on it. We dont know yet.

He is talking about riping out the power train & putting something newer in it. But that will have to wait for 6 months or even a year.

This truck has to make it from my house to Reno & back come Aug.

Then up to Bellueve for the All Chevy show.

Just a slight tub to fit the 22"X13" rims:p

krazzycowgirl Mar 7, 2004 07:31 PM

It isnt going to be Tubbed out & We are not going to put 22" wheels on it.

This truck is a show Truck NOT a Pimpmoble.

This is what is changing:
Seat (going with a 40-20-40 or a 60-40 split)

Gas tank (its coming out of the cab & going under the bed)

Lowered Its going to be lowered & balanced maybe 2 inches TOPS.

Its getting a a new drive train in it.

& getting a Tano cover.

Why destory the beauty of this truck?

I was just kidding around, going to the extreme. I wouldn't call a truck with those mods a pimp mobile. It would be more of a modern pro-touring setup.

Well we just ordered http://www.atthemart.com/acb/showdet...D=524&CATID=13

In two tone gray leather & they will be here with in a month so this time next month they will be in the truck.:D

Use it in shows and keep it stored the rest of the time or sell it. Nice truck. :thumb:
