twin turbo rx-7

last night i was crusin down 200th in langley and outta' no wear this guy in a silver rx-7 flys by me blow off valvs and all i was liek "owah ****" so we start weaving though trafic and what not.... he beat me oviously but i had him good untill the turbos spooled...he pulled over and we starting talking super nice guy ha ha he coudl not beleve it was a stock lt-1..he said he knew of bctfb..it was a good time

What model year rx7 ?? Some of the late model ones can really move .

Twin turbo setup = slow to stock... BPUs only. Usually the 1st mod is to switch to a big single turbo!

I don't think many cars could hang with an RX7 at full boost... kind of along the same lines as a Supra TT except lighter.

i had an RX7 turbo II .. mine was a 87 model with single turbo .. it was modded pretty good .. 3" clean RaceBeat exhause turbo back, some computer work, fuel defeat bypass thingy .. it would eat stock Fbodies alive ... it would even lick off 3rd gen RX7s pretty easy it was bosstin 11 psi .. happy days till that little POS motor blew an apex seal ...

sandeep .. sad thing is, my rice rocket would keep up to ur TA head to head and would outhandle it any day

my RX7 was by far the best handeling car i've owned, it felt soo secure and tight at high speeds u felt like ur sitting in an F1 car .. i actually topped out the speedo at 250 and was still pulling . in the camaro i sh*t my pants hitting 200 it gets so unsecure... i miss that thing sometimes (then i glance at my Z and forget alll about it )

you must be scared of speed i topped out my car with the full stock suspension and felt no loosness in my car at all.

mind you, my driveshaft WAS bent in 2 spots before now that i had it straightened the car is smooth as silk...

Im with Payam on this one , in stock trim I wouldnt get neer 160 mph
